Taveuni, Jewel of the Pacific
Fiji has over 300 islands scattered in a group throughout the Pacific Ocean. The islands are South of the Hawaiian Islands and North of New Zealand and Australia. Here in Fiji, we are pollution free and breathe the freshest, cleanest air and drink the purest water in the world. Fiji enjoys an ideal South Sea tropical climate thus making it a perfect holiday destination, especially for those who wish to escape the severe Northern Hemisphere winters. With a tropical climate, Taveuni’s average summer temperatures range between 23º - 30ºC and the winter average temperatures are 20º - 26ºC. The rainy season is in summer (December to February). The common language is English whilst the native tongue is Fijian and the Indians speak Hindi.
