Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has seen his Madden 22 coins rating fall for the second consecutive week.
The video game franchise announced its latest player news following the Week 9 results. Mahomes has lost another percent in his overall score to the 97 mark. The year began as part of the Madden 99 club but fell out after the week 8 game.
Mahomes who shares his Madden covers with Tom Brady for this year's game, may be dealing with the terrible "Madden curse" because he hasn't achieved the standard we're used to seeing him perform.
The 2018 NFL MVP has thrown 10 interceptions across nine games this season, the second most of the league. He had 11 interceptions in the two seasons prior to that.
Mahomes had a lackluster showing in the 13-7 loss on Sunday to the Green Bay Packers, throwing for a season-low 166 yards on the basis of a 54.1 completion percentage with a touchdown. It was his third straight game in which he had less than 300 passing yards . He hasn't scored more than one touchdown in a game since the week 6.
Mahomes wasn't the only one who fell in the ratings. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford dropped from cheap Mut 22 coins 85 to 85 after throwing two interceptions for the first time in the season, in Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
